Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations using medical history reviews and assessment protocols to create personalized treatment plans. Effectively communicate findings, strategies, and progress goals with patients and families to promote engagement. Demonstrate proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to individual needs, adjusting protocols based on evolving conditions. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to document treatment plan changes and maintain accurate records of all patient interactions. Participate in departmental initiatives for clinical marketing and contribute to benchmarks supporting patient satisfaction. Pursue continuing education and act as a clinical instructor for aspiring physical therapy students.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license for physical therapy practice as required for New Jersey
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with team members
