Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic patient evaluations and develop personalized rehabilitation plans utilizing manual therapy and exercise prescriptions. Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve motion, strength, and mobility while minimizing surgical or medication reliance. Maintain organized patient loads with focused, attentive care sessions and document progress using Web PT electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness trainers to deliver well-rounded care for clients managing post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility limitations. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in our outpatient Woodbridge facility.
Required Qualifications
- An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- At least two years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Proficient in using EMR systems for documentation, particularly Web PT
- Expertise in various manual therapy techniques
- Current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy guided by the latest research and clinical findings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic environment
- Prior exposure to sports therapy or rehabilitation of athletic injuries
- A track record of designing individualized treatment plans that deliver successful patient outcomes
