Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional capabilities and limitations, establishing baseline metrics to inform treatment strategies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, movement re-education, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to each patient's needs. Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting protocols as necessary to reflect changes in condition or achievement of goals. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and best practices for injury prevention. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care and facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic therapy
- Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with a multifaceted healthcare team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing advanced rehabilitation techniques
- Specialty certifications such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
