Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' orthopedic conditions and formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on unique patient goals, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapies. Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations and progress notes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention techniques to support recovery and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- A current and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy with a focus on orthopedic conditions
- In-depth knowledge of current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a rehabilitation center or similar clinical setting
- Familiarity with patient management software and electronic health records
- Certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy such as sports therapy or manual therapy
