Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs, establishing baseline metrics to measure progress. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to unique circumstances, implementing hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices. Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes while educating families on home exercise regimens. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff to provide integrated care strategies. Ensure adherence to all professional standards and state regulations. Work primarily onsite in patients' homes in Coral Springs, Florida, serving an orthopedic population including geriatric clients. Requires a current Florida Physical Therapist license with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Required Qualifications
- A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role
- Experience within a home care setting or skilled nursing facility
- Prior experience working with geriatric populations
