Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients to establish realistic rehabilitation goals. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans using therapeutic techniques tailored to orthopedic recovery needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in accordance with medical standards and facility protocols. Engage in ongoing professional development through educational workshops and review of relevant literature. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree
- Must possess a current, active Physical Therapy license for the state of Virginia
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a physical therapy role
- Experience in an orthopedic setting
- Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to motivate patients effectively
- Understanding of facility equipment operation and maintenance

- Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience in engaging with patients to maximize their potential through tailored motivational strategies
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation processes to maintain accurate patient records
