Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans, then implement diverse therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, modalities, and exercises to reduce pain and improve functional movement. Utilize innovative technology for rehabilitation support, meticulously document patient progress while adjusting plans based on recovery feedback, and educate patients and families on self-care strategies and assistive device usage. Engage with a multidisciplinary team to tailor approaches for patients ranging from children to older adults with orthopedic conditions, post-operative recovery needs, or chronic pain issues. Maintain active state licensure and current CPR certification within a community-centered outpatient office environment in Boca Grande, FL.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Florida
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience in specialty areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, or post-operative therapy
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
