Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to identify patients' functional limitations, then develop and update individualized treatment plans for orthopedic rehabilitation. Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers, document treatment processes accurately in written and electronic formats, and engage with the interdisciplinary team to discuss care strategies. Supervise assigned support staff, participate in leadership functions including community outreach and quality improvement initiatives, and attend staff meetings for ongoing professional development. Work onsite in a collaborative outpatient environment with a standard 40-hour week and variable weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and other computer applications necessary for documentation and reporting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
