Job Summary
Conduct personalized orthopedic assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients recovering from sports injuries, post-operative conditions, arthritis, and chronic pain. Implement manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and cost-effective non-surgical interventions to enhance motion, mobility, and independence. Manage a reasonable patient load while maintaining organized electronic medical records via Web PT software and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate and adapt strategies based on ongoing patient progress to ensure thorough care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia without any sanctions or board proceedings
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A proven ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs
- Familiarity with EMR software, especially Web PT
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy, emphasizing evidence-based treatment methods
