Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries to develop and implement targeted treatment plans. Utilize therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced equipment to alleviate pain and improve function. Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting plans as needed to achieve patient-centered goals while educating patients and families on self-management strategies and home exercise programs. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and industry literature updates. This full-time onsite role at our Boca Grande facility supports a diverse patient base ranging from children to adults with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, and post-surgical recovery. Weekly pay is provided via direct deposit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and reporting
- Strong ability to adapt to varying patient needs with a flexible treatment approach
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Any internships or volunteer roles in physical therapy settings
- Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and recovery protocols
