Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy treatment to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore muscle function for clients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Perform thorough evaluations of client functional abilities through diagnostic tests, assess home environments for therapeutic enhancements, and administer manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, implement treatment modalities such as traction and massage, and evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to monitor progress and modify care plans while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and fostering open communication with families. Full-time onsite role in The Villages, Florida, with a salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000 yearly.
Required Qualifications
- Current license (or eligibility to obtain) to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinical setting, ideally focused on orthopedic care
- Strong understanding of physical therapy practices, trends, and evidence-based methodologies
