Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients returning from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, then develop and adjust individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Monitor patient progress meticulously, document records accurately, and provide education on condition management and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care while staying current with emerging trends through ongoing professional development. Work onsite in our Union, New Jersey outpatient office with flexible Monday-to-Friday hours, focusing on orthopedic populations ranging from post-surgical recovery to sports injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in technology, including electronic health records (EHR) and word processing software
- A flexible approach to work and a commitment to patient-centered practices
