Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of physician-referred patients to develop personalized treatment programs. Implement therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to aid rehabilitation, utilizing appropriate modalities and manual techniques to support recovery. Provide hands-on treatment while demonstrating outstanding customer service and professionalism during interactions with patients and families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance rehabilitation experiences and educate patients and caregivers about conditions and treatment plans. Meet established productivity targets and contribute to departmental goals. Treat a diverse patient population including those with orthopedic injuries, sports-related challenges, pediatric conditions, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of two years of experience within a rehabilitation setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective patient interactions and documentation
- Competence with electronic health record systems and basic administrative software
