Job Summary
Conduct individualized patient assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation programs for orthopedic conditions, injuries, and chronic pain. Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to restore strength, mobility, and function while maintaining a manageable caseload. Educate patients on their treatment plans and monitor progress regularly to adjust care based on evolving needs. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care within a multidisciplinary team. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in our Richmond, Virginia outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Virginia
- A track record of successful Patient Outcomes demonstrated by adherence to evidence-based practices
- Comprehension of various manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, with proficiency in WebPT or similar platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, conducive to building rapport with patients and working collaboratively within a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a solid understanding of sports medicine protocols
- Proven ability to design and implement effective therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Staying current with advancements in physical therapy practices and interventions through ongoing professional development
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
