Job Summary
Assess patients' unique goals and develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Manage patient load effectively while applying evidence-based, cost-effective strategies to enhance mobility and functional capabilities. Implement comprehensive care plans utilizing manual therapy modalities and customized fitness programs, focusing on non-surgical approaches whenever possible. Continuously assess treatment effectiveness to adjust plans and maintain meticulous documentation in electronic medical records. Work within a structured 9 AM to 5 PM schedule Monday through Friday in Fairfax, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy modalities
- Exceptional ability to develop and implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation
- A strong knowledge base in physical therapy techniques and treatment methodologies supported by recent research
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with current clinical practices and treatment modalities
- Skills in multidisciplinary collaboration, working with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care
