Job Summary

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery and educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and health maintenance strategies. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation of progress. Work onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Metuchen, New Jersey, as a full-time role requiring a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a valid New Jersey license.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
  • Valid State License to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a licensed physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic setting
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on patient education and engagement
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with each patient, fostering trust and maximizing their rehabilitation potential
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and positively impacting the community

Desired Qualifications

  • Specialized training or certifications in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, or pediatrics
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary teamwork environment where collaborative care and shared goals are emphasized
