Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of physician-referred patients to assess physical abilities and needs. Create and implement tailored treatment programs aligned with physician recommendations, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Deliver skilled therapeutic care onsite and in-home settings using evidence-based interventions to improve functionality and mobility. Consult and educate patients and caregivers on recovery strategies and exercise regimens. Meet established performance metrics to contribute to the rehabilitation program's effectiveness. Work onsite at Stalwart Rehabilitation Center in Appomattox, Virginia, in a supportive environment dedicated to evidence-based practices and personalized care.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- A valid state license in physical therapy
- A Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and build rapport with patients
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software

- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Prior experience in orthopedic settings
- Experience working with a variety of patient demographics
