Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to determine effective treatment plans. Implement evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation protocols tailored to individual needs, closely monitoring progress and adjusting interventions to enhance outcomes. Communicate evaluation results and treatment goals clearly to patients and families while ensuring timely completion of comprehensive documentation, including daily encounter notes and progress reports. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to share insights and coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity targets while participating in community outreach initiatives and ongoing professional development as a clinical instructor.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Monday through Friday work schedule
