Job Summary
Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to create cohesive care plans. Educate patients and families regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques, and attend interdisciplinary team meetings to adjust treatment plans based on feedback. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards for this full-time role in East Brunswick, New Jersey, with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License
- At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
- Experience with manual therapy techniques and personalized exercise regimens
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking
