Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize individual patient goals and needs, tailoring interventions accordingly. Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused, personalized treatment using evidence-based orthopedic interventions. Create and implement individualized care plans incorporating manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, while designing customized fitness programs to address specific patient conditions. Deliver high-quality care by evaluating treatment effectiveness, monitoring progress, and thoroughly documenting all services for compliance. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient recovery.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington, DC, with no board or disciplinary actions
- Strong manual therapy skills
- A thorough understanding of orthopedic physical therapy practices
- Proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs and conditions
- Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, and the ability to utilize it efficiently for patient management
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a busy orthopedic outpatient clinic environment
- Demonstrated ability to customize treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback
