Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize individual patient goals and needs, tailoring evidence-based orthopedic interventions to enhance mobility and functional independence. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour while delivering personalized care through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and customized fitness programs. Monitor treatment effectiveness, document all services in compliance with regulations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize recovery outcomes. Engage directly with patients in our outpatient office setting to promote strength, flexibility, and balance while minimizing medication dependence.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington, DC, with no board or disciplinary actions
- Strong manual therapy skills
- A thorough understanding of orthopedic physical therapy practices
- Proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs and conditions
- Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, and the ability to utilize it efficiently for patient management
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a busy orthopedic outpatient clinic environment
- Demonstrated ability to customize treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback
- History of successful patient outcomes through comprehensive evaluations and targeted therapeutic interventions
