Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, identifying functional limitations and designing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs. Apply advanced therapeutic techniques, including joint mobilization, manual therapy, and exercise prescription to promote recovery and enhance mobility. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies and monitor patient progress, ensuring continuity of care. Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining meticulous records to facilitate communication with the healthcare team. Engage in leadership activities, which may include community outreach initiatives, quality improvement projects, and opportunities for mentoring junior staff. Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation practices. Work with a diverse population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to patients and their families effectively
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in word processing applications

- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
