Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments for patients with orthopedic conditions to design individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Implement therapeutic modalities and exercises to restore mobility and improve functional outcomes while maintaining meticulous documentation of evaluations and progress notes. Engage directly with diverse patient populations across all ages, delivering empathetic care and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient outcomes and contribute to community outreach initiatives promoting health and wellness. Lead quality improvement projects and participate in staff meetings to stay current with industry best practices. Work onsite in Cypress, Florida, with a full-time schedule in a collaborative environment alongside physicians and specialists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current State License in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
