Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs, then craft individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and occupational therapists to ensure holistic care, while maintaining high standards of customer service and documenting progress thoroughly. Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health education and participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases and implement continuous quality improvement processes. Serve individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions within our state-of-the-art Clearwater facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy in Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification to ensure patient safety and emergency readiness.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction among colleagues and patients.
- Competency in various computer applications, including electronic medical records systems (EMRs), enabling effective patient documentation and data management.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Experience We prefer candidates with experience specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation or related fields.
- Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques, such as joint mobilization, post-operative care, and strength training protocols, is highly valued.
- Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
