Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals, managing an efficient caseload of one patient per hour. Design and implement individualized treatment programs utilizing manual therapy skills and advanced therapeutic modalities to reduce pain and promote healing. Document patient progress meticulously, offer alternative non-invasive solutions to medications or surgical interventions, and foster an encouraging atmosphere to motivate patients through their treatment journey. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated services, regularly reassess treatment effectiveness, and educate patients on lifestyle improvements, strength training, and flexibility exercises. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative environment with two other physical therapists and one PTA, serving patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- Clean record free from disciplinary actions
- Strong foundational knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience designing and implementing tailored exercise regimens for diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM
