Job Summary
Evaluate orthopedic patients to formulate treatment plans, implement individualized therapy programs, and monitor progress to adjust strategies. Deliver physical therapy sessions including therapeutic exercises and patient education in the clinic or at home as required. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes while guiding patients and families on managing post-operative care and using assistive devices. Participate in team meetings to contribute to continuous improvement of therapeutic protocols. This role focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal disorders, and sports injuries within a collaborative onsite environment.
Required Qualifications
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut
- A degree in Physical Therapy, specifically a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- A valid driver's license
