Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, then develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour while administering evidence-based therapies that promote efficient recovery and designing personalized fitness programs to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach, monitor treatment outcomes, and document all patient interactions in accordance with organizational standards. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm within a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no record of board or disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design and implementation of exercise programs
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT to enhance patient care and documentation efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Familiarity with utilizing innovative treatments and modalities specific to sports medicine
- Ability to foster strong patient rapport and deliver compassionate care tailored to individual needs
