Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify movement limitations and rehabilitation needs, customizing treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Manage a patient caseload with one-on-one interactions, allocating up to one hour per patient to implement manual therapy and exercise regimens that promote mobility and pain relief. Educate patients on self-management strategies, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans while maintaining accurate documentation following regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one PTA to provide coordinated care. Requires a valid New Jersey licensure and a Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid licensure as a physical therapist in the state of New Jersey
- A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures
- Must hold a valid licensure as a physical therapist in the state of New Jersey
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced qualifications such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically within orthopedic outpatient environments
- Proficiency in conducting manual therapy techniques and developing tailored exercise plans to address individual patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT or equivalent platforms, for seamless documentation and assessment
