Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical condition and therapy needs, then develop customized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment. Administer treatments to improve mobility, relieve pain, and enhance function for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and assistive device use, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions and treatments in compliance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in using computer and word-processing software
- A highly flexible and agile approach to changing patient needs and evolving clinical situations
