Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions and create individualized treatment plans tailored to unique needs and goals. Utilize evidence-based methodologies including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to enhance recovery outcomes while regularly monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to coordinate comprehensive care, educating patients and families on injury prevention and home exercise regimens. This full-time onsite role in Trenton, New Jersey serves athletes and older adults in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, offering a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- At least two years of hands-on experience in the field, specifically focusing on orthopedic physical therapy
- Possess strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a proven track record in developing successful rehabilitation programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct patients and collaborate with team members
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy, such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
- Experience working in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting, enhancing multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to educate patients and their families through engaging workshops and one-on-one sessions
