Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments and design individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Utilize hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to facilitate recovery, while educating patients on self-care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of progress and participate in regular team meetings to enhance care strategies. This role focuses on a diverse outpatient population in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, supported by state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Demonstrated specialization or significant experience in orthopedic care
- Familiarity with various treatment techniques and rehabilitation protocols
- Exceptional clinical assessment and treatment skill set
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation efficiently
