Job Summary
Deliver individualized orthopedic physical therapy services focusing on thorough assessment, effective treatment, and rehabilitation tailored to each patient's specific needs. Develop detailed treatment plans incorporating patient goals, medical history, and evidence-based practices while employing innovative techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management strategies. Document patient progress meticulously through electronic health records and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to devise holistic treatment strategies. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management techniques. Work onsite at our Piscataway facility addressing diverse conditions including post-operative recovery, sports-related injuries, arthritis, and orthopedic trauma.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Specialization or advanced training in orthopedic physical therapy techniques
- Exceptional clinical assessment and treatment skills that enhance patient recovery strategies
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams, showcasing strong interpersonal skills
