Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to identify unique goals and needs. Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans including manual therapy, exercise, and patient education. Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions to optimize outcomes while providing one-on-one guidance during sessions. Design tailored fitness programs to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-operative conditions, and chronic pain. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure holistic care, evaluating treatment outcomes and communicating clearly with patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing effective exercise programs
Desired Qualifications
