Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to identify unique goals and needs. Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans including manual therapy, exercise, and patient education. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions to optimize outcomes for adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-operative conditions, and chronic pain. Provide one-on-one guidance and motivation during sessions while collaborating with physicians and occupational therapists. Design tailored fitness programs to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Evaluate treatment outcomes and maintain clear communication with patients and families regarding next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing effective exercise programs
Desired Qualifications
