Job Summary
Conduct thorough orthopedic patient evaluations and develop customized treatment plans to enhance movement capabilities and functional mobility. Maintain a patient load of one per hour, utilizing evidence-based methods and innovative non-surgical interventions to minimize medication reliance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic recovery, while monitoring progress and adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes. Document all sessions accurately in the WebPT electronic medical records system. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a modern 5,000-square-foot facility specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- No disciplinary actions against the license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise programs
- Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting
- A supplemental background in sports medicine or rehabilitation
