Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' goals and needs, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans that promote optimal recovery. Utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective therapy interventions aimed at improving motion and mobility, thereby reducing reliance on long-term medications and preventing unnecessary surgeries. Develop and implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions based on the latest research. Create and oversee fitness and wellness programs specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of our patients, taking into account their physical capabilities and rehabilitation goals. Conduct regular progress assessments to modify care plans as required, ensuring that each patient's treatment journey is responsive and personalized. Encourage and educate patients on maintaining healthy lifestyles through strength training, flexibility exercises, balance improvement, and coordination activities. This full-time, onsite position is located in Lakewood, New Jersey, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a strong focus on orthopedic conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Familiarity with a range of physical therapy treatment options, latest therapeutic techniques, and technological instruments utilized in patient care
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, English major preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate
- Experience in developing and executing orthopedic rehabilitation programs and interventions, with a focus on tangible patient outcomes
- Strong background in patient education and community engagement, particularly in promoting wellness and preventive care strategies
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documenting patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress
