Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances. Administer various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to effectively improve mobility and function. Manage a patient caseload, dedicating one hour per individual to ensure personalized attention and effective treatment. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and track progress accurately. Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and self-management strategies that promote long-term health and wellness. Monitor treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery. Maintain open communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness. Primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, joint pain, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- An unblemished professional record without any history of board or disciplinary actions
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice
- Exceptional skills in developing and implementing exercise protocols for varying patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
