Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify functional goals and movement limitations, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour with uninterrupted, dedicated therapy. Implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise, and educational strategies to restore range of motion and reduce dependence on medication or surgery. Develop personalized care plans and fitness programs for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, while documenting progress meticulously in electronic medical records. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists and assistants to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary history
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Exceptional skills in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of practical experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Experience working with a diverse patient population, including athletes, older adults, and those recovering from surgeries
- Demonstrated history of successfully developing innovative rehabilitation programs that have improved patient outcomes
