Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and execute tailored protocols for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Maintain high standards of documentation for evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries while consulting with interdisciplinary healthcare team members as required. Manage your schedule effectively to ensure timely attendance at meetings and participate in departmental initiatives, contributing to marketing efforts and access initiatives within the hospital and community. Actively pursue ongoing professional education and mentor less experienced staff and clinical interns.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an orthopedic setting
- Current CPR certification
