Job Summary
Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Manage an individual caseload with one patient per hour, utilizing manual therapy and evidence-based interventions to restore range of motion and functional mobility. Create customized fitness programs, conduct regular outcome evaluations to adjust care, and document all activities meticulously. Collaborate with physical therapy assistants and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive recovery for diverse populations, including athletes and older adults.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
- Clean professional record without any disciplinary actions or board suspensions.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and functional rehabilitation.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting demonstrating effective management of patient cases.
- Strong competency in developing innovative exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
- Hands-on experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
