Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Utilize therapeutic modalities including exercises, manual therapy, and education to facilitate recovery from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting plans as needed while maintaining accurate records. Provide hands-on therapy using equipment and massage to improve functionality, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care. Educate patients and families on post-treatment expectations and at-home strategies. This role involves working with a diverse population from adolescents to seniors in our state-of-the-art Tallahassee facility, offering a competitive salary of $90,000 to $110,000.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to observe and assess patients' needs diligently
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Experience working with patients across different demographics
- Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment
