Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional abilities, tailoring treatment plans accordingly. Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and specialized modalities to develop and implement individualized strategies for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain. Monitor progress, record treatment activities, and adjust goals based on ongoing assessments while educating patients and caregivers on self-care and device use. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize recovery plans and stay current with practice advancements. This full-time onsite role at Small Changes Physical Therapy Services in McLean, Virginia, serves a diverse population including athletes and older adults.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
