Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities and limitations, developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Implement therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, and advanced modalities, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility. Monitor patient progress, adjust protocols as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinic standards. Provide education and emotional support to patients, encouraging adherence to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans addressing both physical and emotional aspects of recovery. Work primarily with patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, arthritis, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
- Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience with WebPT
- Excellent communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Patient care skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their families
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies
- Background in sports rehabilitation
- Experience working with athletes
