Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical recovery, to determine functional abilities. Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs, administering hands-on interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs while collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. A valid Michigan Physical Therapy license and DPT degree are required.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Michigan
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to build rapport with a diverse patient population
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical evidence
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach that prioritizes the healing and recovery of patients
- The capability to work independently
- The capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Onsite work at the rehabilitation center
- Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Exposure to orthopedic conditions or sports rehabilitation
- Previous experience utilizing EMR systems for documentation and patient tracking
