Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patients upon initial visits to determine appropriate treatment plans based on medical history and individual goals. Implement specialized orthopedic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to patient needs. Monitor progress continuously and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes while collaborating with physicians and specialists. Engage patients in education sessions covering injury prevention, recovery strategies, and at-home exercise plans. Work onsite in our outpatient office serving diverse populations from young athletes to older adults with chronic pain. Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of two years' experience providing physical therapy services, particularly in an orthopedic setting
- Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience working with orthopedic patients in an outpatient environment
- Familiarity with current evidence-based treatment protocols and methodologies
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient visits and treatment plans effectively
