Job Summary
Evaluate patients for physical impairments, pain levels, and functional limitations to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques to improve range of motion and reduce pain. Execute therapeutic exercise programs targeting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while documenting all care services for regulatory compliance. Monitor treatment outcomes continuously and coordinate comprehensive care with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Focus on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions to restore functional movement and enhance quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Maintain a clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- The ability to create and implement effective exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated success in delivering patient-centered care in a rehabilitation environment
- Experience in evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic injuries
