Job Summary
Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and design individualized treatment plans for orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Deliver evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize outcomes, while educating patients and families on home exercise programs and pain management. Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory policies. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a team environment utilizing advanced therapeutic equipment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic therapy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
