Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, identifying functional limitations and devising appropriate treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, continually reassessing patients and modifying strategies to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment approaches while maintaining accurate documentation of progress and billing. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with physicians and participate in outreach programs and quality improvement projects. Mentor and supervise physical therapy assistants and student interns. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, an active state license, and BLS certification, with a competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000. The position is full-time, onsite in Fairfax, VA, with a 40-hour week and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and their families
- Ability to perform physical assessments
- Ability to maintain diligent documentation standards
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in electronic health records management
- Must be available for variable weekends
- Must comply with vaccination protocols
- Must be able to work onsite in Fairfax, Virginia
