Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve mobility and alleviate pain. Document patient progress meticulously, modifying plans as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes. Provide education on assistive device usage and therapeutic techniques to patients and caregivers. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and staying current with evidence-based literature. This role supports a multidisciplinary team in Edison, New Jersey, focusing on restoring functional ability for diverse patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients and team members
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and adept in utilizing technology for patient management
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Desired Qualifications
