Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Monitor patient progress to adjust protocols for optimal recovery, document encounters meticulously in the electronic health record system, and educate patients and families on self-management strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans focused on patient-centered outcomes while staying informed about evidence-based practices through workshops and professional journals. This full-time role is based on-site at our outpatient office in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Current CPR Certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using EHR systems for efficient patient documentation.
- Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation protocols, including post-operative orthopedic recovery.
- Experience in mentoring or supervising new graduates or interns.
